Economy of Kindness:

- enlightened self-interest-good is not great
Emmanual Kant philosophy is based on the fact that we rely on others as a means to an end. However, he stresses that people have an intrinsic value that is not dependent on our actions, our jobs, our output or how we make others feel.
If we accept that our value is inherent in our very existence, then everyone we encounter deserve our kindness and respect.
Enlightend self-interest: giving charity with motivation of helping others, but may even gain something from it ie. lotto.
