1. Sloth is the deliberate under-use of vitality. Refusal to act, even when the necessary energy is available. Refusing to take responsibility for your own basic emotional housekeeping.
2. Gluttony is the intake of more fuel than necessary for the basic activities of life.
3. Avarice is the same in the form of money accumulated for its own sake rather than as a means to an end.
4. Pride, is an over-investment in a misplaced and fixed view of your own importance, rather than a more fluid notion of identity that can place yourself on the deriphecy of action.
5-7. Wrath, lust and envy are 3 forms of the misdirection of energy towards objects which won't help you resolve anything.
